What is Braintree AY:
The pandemic has highlighted the importance of connecting with one another. This year, Braintree’s AY is focusing on rebuilding our connection with one another and Christ. Our goal is to “…encourage one another and build each other up…” (1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV). With that as our focal point, we will be learning about spiritual gifts and how we can share them with the community at large.
Who is Braintree AY:
We are composed of two age groups: 15-24 and 25-35. We believe that ages 15-24 are formidable years full of questions and wonders about Christ. The 25-35 age group is there to mentor growth and mature in their spiritual walk.
Meetings:
We meet on Saturday afternoons 5:00pm. Our meetings are held in person. (see AY Events page)
AY MISSION:
The salvation of youth through Jesus Christ. We understand youth ministry to be that work of the church that is conducted for, with, and by young people.
AY AIM:
The Advent message to all the world in my generation.
AY MOTTO:
The love of Christ compels me.
AY PLEDGE:
Loving the Lord Jesus, I promise to take an active part in the youth ministry of the church, doing what I can to help others and to finish the work of the Gospel in all the world.
